STUNTS
Char Carway is a stunt performer from County Clare, Ireland. She relocated to Dublin to pursue a career in the film industry and is a member of Stunt Register Ireland. Char trains regularly with Victorious Combat and a variety of other professional stunt organisations.

Her training includes full-body and skin burns, fire safety, car hits, high falls, firearms, wire work, and both armed and unarmed combat.

Qualifications and Training
Char Carway is an Irish stunt performer whose training spans a wide variety of disciplines vital to modern screen action.
​
She trains regularly in martial arts, trampolining, swimming, and stage combat, and holds Level 1 & 2 Practical Theatrical Firearms Certificates for the safe on-screen use of front and top-venting firearms, as well as flashbang grenades. Her skillset includes practical experience in full-body burns, skin burns, fire safety, car hits, high falls, and wirework, developed through intensive workshops and continuous professional practice.

Char holds Irish Dramatic Combat Academy distinctions in multiple weapon systems — including Unarmed Combat, Rapier & Dagger, Broadsword, Sword & Shield, Knife, Small Sword, and Sabre — making her the youngest person in Ireland to achieve distinctions across all these systems. She is currently working toward completing Staff by the end of the year.

She placed 3rd in her category at the SSTO 2023 Trampolining Competition in Scotland, and continues to compete and train in Tang Soo Do, Kickboxing, and Hapkido with Masters Temple in Wicklow and Munster Martial Arts in Limerick, earning 3rd place at the ITO International Tang Soo Do Tournament 2024.

Charlotte is also a certified IRATA Level 1 Rope Access Technician, a qualified PADI Rescue Diver, and is currently halfway through her PADI Divemaster training — expanding her capabilities in underwater and vertical environment stunts.
​
She has studied acting for both stage and screen at some of Ireland’s leading institutions, including Bow Street Academy, The Gaiety School of Acting, and through short courses at The Lir Academy.

Beyond stunts and performance, Charlotte is a trained Axe Throwing Instructor, ISA Advanced Sailing Instructor, and certified Kayaking, SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding), and Archery Instructor. She’s worked in numerous activity centres around Ireland, most recently with The Axe Club in Dublin and Wicklow.

In the world of fitness, she’s a qualified Gym Instructor, Advanced Personal Trainer, and Strength & Conditioning Coach, with further training in Nutrition, Life Coaching, and Mindfulness Coaching — making her uniquely equipped to support both everyday and performance-focused clients.
