Char Carway is an Irish stunt performer, advanced personal trainer, and strength & conditioning coach — combining athleticism, artistry, and mindset to create a life built on movement, courage, and grit.

From the coasts of Clare to the mountains of Wicklow, Char has built her career around the idea that strength isn’t just physical — it’s a way of life. Whether performing high-impact stunt sequences on set or training clients to find their own inner resilience, her approach remains the same: train fierce, live brave, and always show up as the warrior within.

Char’s story is one of motion — not just in her body, but in her purpose. Every challenge, every setback, and every victory has shaped the way she moves through the world today: with strength, empathy, and relentless drive. Whether she’s creating chaos on set or guiding someone through their first workout, she leads with the same belief — that courage is built in the moments no one sees, and growth begins the moment you decide to keep going.

The Journey

Char’s background is as diverse as it is driven.

Before stunts, she was a multi-sport athlete — from hockey, basketball, and rowing to sailing, archery, horse riding, and cross-country running. Her love of movement turned into mastery, leading her to become an Advanced Sailing Instructor, teaching and competing at national and international level.

She’s taught everything from sailing to axe throwing — skills that shaped her discipline, adaptability, and instinct for precision.

Today, that same mindset fuels her career as a stunt performer, blending artistry with athleticism across a wide range of skills: martial arts, gymnastics, trampolining, stage combat, horse work, fire burns, car hits, and more. She trains constantly, working toward the British Stunt Register while actively performing with Stunt Register Ireland.

Each project — and each day of training — pushes her limits, proving that the true essence of a Curadh (warrior) is to keep showing up, even when the odds are high.
